Sharon McKenzie’s practice explores the relationship between nature and humanity with special emphasis on vanishing species. She delves into themes of destruction and rebirth by using recycled materials and traditional techniques such as natural history drawing, embroidery, crochet, paper cutting, printmaking and silhouette images. Sharon's work is held both in public and private collections. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Graduate Diploma in Painting, and a Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies.
